Property in Andalucia – choosing where to buy. · Costa Del Sol Malaga EU

Mucho More About Here: http://costadelsolmalaga.eu/

Property in Andalucia has in recent years become highly sought-after by foreign buyers. The fabulous year-round climate, endless beaches and famously relaxed lifestyle have always drawn people from all over the world here for their holidays, but now many have decided to make a little piece of Andalucia their own. Whether buyers are seeking rural tranquillity or a beautiful sea view, there is certainly some part of Andalucia in which they will feel truly at home.

Finding your particular piece of paradise can however be a lengthy process. Andalucia is a very large and diverse region, and to avoid being overwhelmed by the choice available it is best to focus on one particular area. Much has been made of the price rises in all areas of Andalucia in the last 5 years, but it is still possible to find good value in the countryside, particularly where the seller is motivated or if you don’t mind carrying out some reforms.

Inland Andalucia has been the big growth area for property sales recently. The beautiful whitewashed villages, undulating hills covered with endless olive groves and of course the breathtaking historic sites of Granada, Cordoba and Seville are all reasons why many foreigners are choosing to buy inland. In addition, living in an Andalucian village gives you the chance to become part of the community and experience the real Spain.

The Andalucian coastline is, of course, most popular with foreign buyers for obvious reasons. Rental income is often a major consideration for property owners and the Costa del Sol continues to be one of the most important holiday destinations for people from Northern Europe. When viewing properties, always consider whether it will be appealing to potential renters. Is there a pool? Is the beach a short walk away? Are bars and restaurants close by? An attractive and well situated property may turn out to be a very good investment. Avoid properties near busy roads, without parking, or with many steps or other features that will make it unattractive to families with young children.

Resorts on the Costa del Sol are not all the same. The small resorts of Rincon de la Victoria and La Cala del Moral are still very Spanish in character, with excellent seafood restaurants and a charming family atmosphere. On the other hand, the highly developed resorts to the west of Malaga are more cosmopolitan, and if you are looking for a large expatriate community and a wide variety of entertainment, this is the place to look for Andalucian property.

Several words of advice! Make sure you are well-informed about the Spanish property-buying process (there are several good books available in bookstores or online). Always retain an independent lawyer, unconnected with the vendor of the property you are buying, to check documentation for you and look out for possible problems. If you are seeing houses with agents, be very clear about the kind of house you are looking for, to avoid many hours of wasted time spent viewing totally unsuitable properties.

Finally, if you do find your ideal property, it could well turn out to be one of the most rewarding purchases of your life. Not only does having your own property in Andalucia guarantee many sunny holidays for you, your family and friends, it could well end up becoming your permanent home, if, like many others, you find it impossible to imagine living anywhere else!
