Guide toTorremolinos · Costa Del Sol Malaga EU

Mucho More About Here: http://costadelsolmalaga.eu/

Possibly the most famous of all the Costa del Sol resorts owing to the fact that it was one of the earliest Spanish villages to be developed for tourism in the 50’s and 60’s Torremolinos has a huge amount of tourism visitors each year. Originally a small fishing village, it was one of the first locations to be marketed by tour operators during those years and its fame grew exponentially and internationally.

Due to Torremolinos’ outstanding location, just 15/20 minutes from Málaga Airport and its beautifully sandy beaches (no pebbles!), Torremolinos’ growing reputation led to further investment and now boasts a huge selection of hotels in all categories; this means that Torremolinos has the capacity to suit all budgets and price ranges. You may even camp too.

Torremolinos also boasts some of the best family entertainment in whole of the Costa del Sol – there is so much available within a half an hour radius (there is no real need to hire cars unless you want to travel further afield) such from the famous Aqua Park (my own personal fave), the Equestrian Centre (highly trained horses, beautifully Spanish) to the Crocidille Park (situated by the Pine Forest) that are actually based in Torremolinos to the Sea Life Centre in Benalmadena Marina where there are also a multitude of boat trips and fine shopping to choose from too.

Although it is not the all night party town it used to be there are still enough Bars, Restaurands & Clubs to keep anyone fed, thirst quenched and dancing until dawn. But for those who want to pursue a more relaxing holiday and work on their tans there are the clean and sandy beaches that boast innumerable “chirigutos” (beach bars & restaurants) specialising in a mouth-watering vast choice of fish, meats and salads. You can find traditional “Sardinas al Espeto” (Sardines on a bamboo spit, roasted over hot coals) and Sea Food Paella. You can always find great steaks here too for the die-hard carnivores. Torremolinos even has its own charming sea food district known as La Carihuela. All this runs along a beautiful promenade; you may even wish to take out one of the jet ski’s or practice your water skiing.

Torremolinos has left its ill gotten “Spam & Chips” reputation far behind, reinvented itself as a safe and clean place to spend one´s holidays and it is still one of Europe’s favoured destinations for those on a budget.

If you are searching for a holiday to suit all the family, all budgets and in the sun… Torremolinos reigns supreme.
