4. Atalaya Golf and Country Club: Atalaya is one of those rare golf courses that offer two well-maintained 18-hole (par 72) courses. Interestingly, this golf club is the headquarters of the PGA of Europe. Located between the picturesque Marbella and Estepona, Atalaya has one of Spain’s largest driving ranges. The old course (6,142 m) has gentle slopes and lots of trees and vegetation, while the new course (5,325 m) has a breathtaking layout.
5. Alcaidesa Links: Situated between Sotogrande and Algeciras, this beautiful golf course is Costa del Sol’s westernmost course with 18-hole (par 72) greens. Designed by Peter Allis and Clive Clark, Alcaidesa golf course is surrounded by woodlands and beaches offering magnificent sea views and even Gibraltar is clearly visible from this paradisiacal golf course.
