Since the 1960s, Torremolinos, along the beautiful Costa del Sol in Spain, has been known as one of the region’s most important tourist destinations attracting holiday-makers from around the world to spend a nice Costa del Sol holiday there. The entire resort is one huge party that showcases some of the finest Spanish music and traditions. The town becomes a carnival and people from around the world are easily caught in the excitement of the celebration. It totally worth to visit one of these events and combine it with a great Costa del Sol holiday.


Of course, the summer months along the Costa del Sol offer much more than festivals and parties, though these are a welcome treat for many visitors. On the outskirts of town are quiet forests where hikers can picnic and soak in pleasures found away from the beaches and coast lines.


Summer is also the prime time for golfers to take advantage of the many top-rated courses in the area and the region is fast becoming a premier golf destination in Spain. Some travelers even refer to the region as the Costa del Golf, as opposed to the Costa del Sol.
